    The International Committee for Radionuclide Metrology (ICRM) is pleased to announce that its next conference will be organized by Institutul Naţional de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Fizică şi Inginerie Nucleară “Horia Hulubei” (IFIN-HH) from March 27th to 31st, 2023 in Bucharest, Romania.
    The main purpose of the conference is to enhance the international collaboration in the field of radionuclide metrology by presenting new developments and applications and facilitating the exchange of scientific information between the participants.

    The Seventeenth International Symposium on Reactor Dosimetry (ISRD) will be held May 21-26, 2023 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
    This Symposium is held approximately every three years to provide a forum for the interchange of state-of-the-art techniques, databases and standards for radiation metrology. The Symposium will be of value to those involved in reactor dosimetry, including researchers, manufacturers and representatives from industry, utilities and regulatory agencies. The Symposium theme is dosimetry for the assessment of irradiated reactor materials and reactor experiments, featuring radiation metrology techniques, databases and standardization.

    ANIMMA 2023 is the eighth of a series of conferences devoted to endorsing and promoting scientific and technical activities based on nuclear instrumentation and measurements. ANIMMA conference aims at uniting, consolidating and organizing an international network of scientific researchers and experts from industry, research institutes, universities dealing with nuclear instrumentation and measurement methodology activities (R&D, Innovation and applications).
    The Conference will be held from June 12th to 16th, 2023 in Lucca, Italy.

    The International Topical Meeting on Industrial Radiation and Radioisotope Measurement Applications (IRRMA) is a triennial event organized with the purpose of bringing together scientists and engineers from around the world who share an interest in radiation and radioisotope measurement applications.
    Professor Robin P. Gardner of North Carolina State University was the founder of the IRRMA series of topical meetings and chaired the first and fourth meetings. IRRMA-11 is being organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Alma Mater Sudiorum University of Bologna. It will be held from July 23rd to 28th, 2023 in Bologna, Italy.

    The European Conference on X-ray spectrometry (EXRS) was held on June 26-July 1st, 2022 in Bruges, Belgium. This biennal conference has become a traditional meeting for scientists from around the world working in x-ray spectrometry or using one of its several techniques: X-ray fluorescence (conventional, micro-fluorescence, synchrotron-based and total-reflection), electron microprobe, PIXE, XRD, etc. It represents an exciting discussion forum for basic research and applications of x-ray spectrometry in a rich variety of fields like materials science, chemistry (analysis of materials, quantification), radiation physics, medicine (medical physics, medical imaging), biology, environment, cultural heritage, technology and industry. EXRS is an opportunity to learn more about the latest in theoretic, experimental and applied XRS, to discuss with people from all over the world, to share your own work and to learn from others.

    The Low-Level Radioactivity Measurement Techniques (LLRMT) 2022 Conference is a five-day topical meeting of the International Committee for Radionuclide Metrology (ICRM). INFN-LNGS was pleased to host the conference at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso, Assergi, Italy, May 2-6, 2022.
    The ICRM working group for Low-Level Measurements Techniques (LLMT) examines techniques to enable the detection of ever lower amounts of radioactivity. This enables for example collecting smaller samples and realising new applications involving radionuclides. The working group focuses on metrology and the latest developments in a variety of areas, including measurement of environmental radioactivity, radionuclides in food and drinking water, reference materials characterisation, tracer studies and nuclear physics research. It is planned to publish the conference proceedings in a refereed scientific journal. The conference brings together 130-150 worldwide experts for presentations and discussion covering the techniques, applications and data in the field of low-level radioactivity measurement.

    ALTECH (Analytical techniques for precise characterization of nano materials) was held on May 25-29, 2020 in Strasbourg, France. This symposium is organized by four major European National Metrology Institutes; within the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) spring meeting.
    ALTECH is a networking platform for scientist and engineers from metrology and research institutes, academia and industry. This Symposium will cover recent and innovative developments in analytical techniques that can provide precise characterization of materials and devices with nanoscale and/or atomic resolution. The objective of this symposium is both to highlight the capabilities of precise techniques for the determination of the key structural and material parameters and for a better understanding of the functional properties of challenging new materials.
