This biennal conference has become a traditional meeting for scientists from around the world working in x-ray spectrometry or using one of its several techniques: X-ray fluorescence (conventional, micro-fluorescence, synchrotron-based and total-reflection), electron microprobe, PIXE, XRD, etc. It represents an exciting discussion forum for basic research and applications of x-ray spectrometry in a rich variety of fields like materials science, chemistry (analysis of materials, quantification), radiation physics, medicine (medical physics, medical imaging), biology, environment, cultural heritage, technology and industry. EXRS is an opportunity to learn more about the latest in theoretic, experimental and applied XRS, to discuss with people from all over the world, to share your own work and to learn from others.
  • ICRM LLRMT 2022
    https://icrm2022.lngs.infn.it
The Low-Level Radioactivity Measurement Techniques (LLRMT) 2022 Conference is a five-day topical meeting of the International Committee for Radionuclide Metrology (ICRM). INFN-LNGS was pleased to host the conference at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso, Assergi, Italy, May 2-6, 2022.
The ICRM working group for Low-Level Measurements Techniques (LLMT) examines techniques to enable the detection of ever lower amounts of radioactivity. This enables for example collecting smaller samples and realising new applications involving radionuclides. The working group focuses on metrology and the latest developments in a variety of areas, including measurement of environmental radioactivity, radionuclides in food and drinking water, reference materials characterisation, tracer studies and nuclear physics research. It is planned to publish the conference proceedings in a refereed scientific journal. The conference brings together 130-150 worldwide experts for presentations and discussion covering the techniques, applications and data in the field of low-level radioactivity measurement.
  • ALTECH 2020
